Schjødt

High-profile members of our litigation team contribute and support several student moot court competitions, and many of our lawyers have participated in both Norwegian and international moot court competitions. These include the Nordic ECHR Moot Court, the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court, and the Willem C. 

For more than 20 years, students from all the Nordic law faculties have competed for the "Sporrong-Lönnrothska award" in the Nordic moot court competition. This annual moot simulates the procedure before the European Court of Human Rights. Every year, Schjødt's highly recognized litigators coach the Norwegian Team; "Club Schjødt". The students selected for the team are given office space at our offices throughout the preparation period, and the moot court is recognized as an optional subject (10 credits) by the University of Oslo.

Schjødt also provides funding, and coaches teams during the local and national Norwegian National Moot Court competition organized by ELSA NORWAY, and provides funding to ELSA's WTO moot court.
