Marius Borgen

Partner

Marius is a partner in Schjødt's construction law department. He joined the firm in 2003 and specializes in construction law, oil and gas, and general business litigation.

He was educated at the University of Bergen, and during his studies he served as Editor-in-Chief for the law journal "Jussens Venner." In addition to his work in Schjødt he has worked as an associate for Arnold & Porter LLP, New York, ABB AS and Statoil (Hydro) ASA. Marius holds extensive trial experience within his fields of expertise; new energy, oil and gas/fabrication, contracts and general business litigation. He also advises on non-contentious issues within these areas of law, mainly on behalf of contractors and suppliers. He has published several articles relating to corporate and construction law issues, and serves as an external examiner for the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen.
