Torkjel Kleppo Grøndalen

Torkjel has extensive experience from the energy, oil, gas and offshore industry, both as lawyer and as an in-house lawyer. He is advising energy companies, oil companies, offshore service companies, and the government on regulatory and contractual matters in addition to M&A transactions.

Torkjel has extensive experience within renewable energy, in particular bioenergy, hydrogen, offshore wind and CCS. He is assisting with regulatory matters, project agreements, construction agreement, joint venture and shareholders' agreement etc. Torkjel has also been heavily involved in several carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects in Norway, and worked for a time as the Procurement Manager for the full-scale CCS project at Mongstad (CCM).

Within oil and gas activities, Torkjel’s experience covers all aspects, including contract and regulatory matters, M&A, gas transportation, gas sales and price revisions, construction projects, disputes and oil and gas operational matters. He has been involved in a large number of M&A transactions involving oil and gas companies and their assets. Grøndalen has experience as an in-house lawyer both within Gassco AS and BP Norge AS.
