Birgit Midtbust

Birgit is a partner in our transactions department. Her principal areas of work are in private M&A, investments and corporate law. She frequently advises on many of the largest and most complex transactions in the Nordics, representing both financial sponsors and industrial players. 

In addition to her M&A and corporate law practice, she also has experience within banking and finance, in particular financing of vessels both for banks and ship owners. Birgit has been a lawyer since 2007 and joined Schjødt in 2007. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen.
