Gytis Akelaitis

Gytis is part of Schjødt’s banking and finance department, primarily focusing on advising direct lending funds, corporate borrowers, financial institutions and bond trustees in financing transactions. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics, both from Stockholm University. 

Gytis joined the firm in 2025 and has prior experience working at two of Sweden’s major banks, as well as having completed a traineeship at another Stockholm-based corporate law firm.
