Mathea Thorstensen

Mathea specializes in capital markets transactions and securities law. She particularly has experience with capital raises, up-listings and initial public offerings.

Mathea joined the firm in 2022. During her studies, she had traineeships at corporate law firms, worked as a volunteer advisor providing free financial advice and legal aid, and worked as a colloquium peer mentor at the University of Oslo, supervising advanced law students. In addition, she studied international commercial law at Kings College London and corporate finance law at London School of Economics and Political Science.

Mathea was assigned the Schjødt scholarship for her master's thesis on sustainable classification and disclosure requirements for investment funds: an analysis of the EU Taxonomy Regulation and SFDR.
