People talking outside

We are happy to share that Ingrid Cathrine Nielsen joined our team as a partner on 1 May this year. Ingrid has more than 15 years of experience with employment law with another firm in Oslo and will be a strong contribution to our team. She advices within all areas of employment, benefit, and pensions law, and has extensive experience with regards to drafting and negotiating executive agreements, bonus and incentive schemes, personnel matters, terminations, and redundancies as well as transfers of personnel and diversity, equality and inclusion matters.

Iselin Nybø (partner) has been practice head since February 2023. She is a former Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of Research and Higher Education, and contributes with a unique perspective on employment matters, which we believe will be very relevant for our clients.

We are also proud to announce that three of our senior associates were promoted to Senior Lawyers from May 2023. Marie Berggren Hagberg, Andrea Cecilie Rakvaag and Anette Øvrehus have worked in Schjødt since 2017 and 2018 respectively, and the recent promotions are a strong recognition of their talent and our team.

Our employment and pensions team now consists of 19 members across our offices in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Stockholm. This makes us one of the largest employment teams in Norway. Recent assistance includes advice on executive appointments/exits, drafting of personnel policies, transfers of undertakings as well as both individual terminations and larger redundancy processes. We also regularly host client seminars in our offices, and we will be happy to tailor employment law workshops to the needs of our clients.
