Diego Bergheim

Diego is a member of Schjødt's Finance team, with a primary focus on restructuring, insolvency, and debt financing. His area of concentration also extends to sustainability regulation and green financing. 

Prior to joining Schjødt, Diego spent 4 years as a management and finance consultant, first as a corporate turnaround specialist at Alvarez & Marsal and later as a strategy and sustainability consultant at EY-Parthenon. He has advised international clients and their stakeholders on complex restructurings, corporate transformations, strategy and business plan development, and performance improvement initiatives. Furthermore, he has provided M&A advisory services, including commercial and operational due diligence assessments, to strategic and private equity investors. Diego's industry experiences include public transportation, healthcare & life sciences, hotel & hospitality, energy, and telecom. 

Before his career in consulting, he gained operational leadership experience in the role of managing director at a healthcare service company which he led through a 6-year growth journey. 

A Norwegian and Brazilian national, Diego is fluent in English, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Italian.
