Ida Apeland

Ida focuses on dispute resolution and advising clients on a range of shipping and commodity matters, including bill of lading disputes, charterparty disputes and cargo claims. Ida regularly acts in both arbitration and in the English High Court. 

Before joining Schjødt, Ida worked for Clyde and Co LLP and gained valuable experience acting for cargo insurance clubs and cargo owners. Prior to this, Ida completed her legal training at Nautica Law. 

Ida speaks fluent Norwegian and has a good understanding of Swedish and Danish.
