Josefine Barta

Josefine specializes in dispute resolution, specifically litigation and arbitration. She also assists clients with commercial contracts, intellectual property issues, and matters pertaining to media law. She holds a Master of Laws degree from University of Copenhagen and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Straus Institute, Pepperdine University. 

Prior to joining Schjødt in 2024, Josefine worked at other Copenhagen-based law firms where she mainly worked on large commercial litigation and arbitration cases, and advised clients on media law, contracts law, copyright law, and trademark law. While working for another firm, Josefine was on secondment to a Danish media corporation where she advised on press ethics, privacy law, defamation law, etc.
