Karen Steffensen

Karen has extensive experience in private M&A, equity financing and venture capital. She frequently advises and represents industrial companies and private equity clients in bilateral and structured sale processes across a broad range of sectors, both cross-border and within the Norwegian market. In addition, she has significant experience advising investors and growth companies on legal and strategic matters across all stages of the venture capital investment lifecycle.

Alongside her transactional practice, Karen serves as a standing legal adviser to a number of companies, providing ongoing counsel on corporate law, commercial contracts and the full range of legal matters arising in the day-to-day running of a business.

Karen holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen and joined the firm in 2019.
