Mads Henry Steinland

Mads Henry Steinland is an associate in the Financial Regulatory department at Schjødt in Oslo. His practice covers a broad range of financial regulatory matters, including regulatory compliance, licensing, and legal support to banks, insurance undertakings, and other regulated financial institutions. 

Prior to joining Schjødt, Mads worked at Finanstilsynet, the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, in the section for licensing and regulation of banks and insurance undertakings. Through this role, he gained in-depth experience with supervisory processes and the regulatory framework governing the Norwegian financial sector. 

Mads holds a Master of Laws from the University of Oslo from 2022. His master’s thesis examined outsourcing arrangements in the banking sector.
