Malene Reinertsen

Malene is specialised in public procurement and has extensive experience in assisting both suppliers and clients in large and complex procurement processes. She has in-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and assists throughout the entire procurement process – from needs assessment and preparation of tender documents to evaluation, complaint handling and dispute resolution. Her advice to suppliers includes strategic guidance throughout the tender process, quality assurance of tender submissions, legal assessments of tender documentation, and assistance in dialogue with contracting authorities. She regularly handles complaints on contract awards, interim injunction cases and claims for damages. 

For public sector clients, Malene's services include quality assurance of tender documents, legal assessments of procurement law issues, contract follow-up and assessments of the legality of contract variations. She has particular experience with risk management related to specifications, award criteria and evaluation models. Malene regularly works with complex procurements involving cross-disciplinary legal issues, including technology, construction and security. She has extensive knowledge of the Defence and Security Procurement Regulations (FOSA) and the interface between FOSA and EEA regulations. 

She is a widely used lecturer and holds numerous courses within procurement law annually.
