Mattias Vilhelm Warnøe Nielsen
Partner
Mattias is a partner in the Transaction department. His principal areas of work are in private M&A, private equity, venture capital, and growth investments. He advises on all types of transactions in the Nordic, representing private equity and venture capital funds, family offices, industrial players and founders.
He is among the most active M&A lawyers in Denmark in the past 10 years according to Mergermarket. Mattias is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen from 2011. He has been a lawyer since 2014 and joined Schjødt in 2023. He is ranked as an up and coming, next generation and notable practitioner individual in international rankings, including Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
Mattias has previously been an external lecturer in properties law at the University of Copenhagen and is also the author of several academic peer-reviewed legal journal articles.
