Andreas Lowzow

Andreas heads Schjødt's Asset Management & Investment Funds group.  

Andreas is an asset management specialist, and holds wide experience with establishment and structuring of all types of investment funds and structures in Norway and abroad (including Luxembourg, Ireland, Guernsey, Sweden and Cayman Islands). This includes open-ended and closed-ended structures, UCITS, alternative investment funds, joint ventures, club deals etc. 

He is considered to be one of the leading regulatory experts in the Norwegian asset management industry and continuously advise asset managers on all parts of their operations.  

A core part of his business is to advise managers/GPs on the structuring and formation of funds, including advising on terms, structure, team investments, drafting of fund documentation, negotiations with LPs etc. He also advises investors/LPs when making fund investments in Norway and abroad (including negotiations on terms, sustainability review, tax etc.).

Andreas holds several board positions at regulated asset managers and alternative investment funds, including as chair. He is also frequently used as a speaker. 

Andreas is the author of the legal commentary to the Norwegian AIF Act, EuVECA, ELTIF and EuSEF regulation in Norway. 

Andreas is ranked in Chambers and mentioned as a "fund expert" by Legal 500 and a "private equity specialist" by IFLR 1000. His team is regarded as a "market leader in sustainable finance and asset management" in the Legal 500 Green Guide.
