Ane Rode

Ane specialises in IT- and technology contracts, data protection and intellectual property. She is experienced in drafting and negotiating all types of IT and technology related contracts, including development contracts, implementation contracts, licensing agreements and cloud contracts. Ane has worked with data protection both as a lawyer and as a data protection officer. Her experience includes advising, drafting and implementing data protection measures, risk assessments, and providing guidance on data breaches. 

Ane joined the firm in 2023. Prior to joining Schjødt, she worked in the law firm Føyen and also had a 18-month secondment in the legal department of Avinor Air Navigation Services. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen. The subject of her master thesis was identifying responsibility for personal data on a blockchain. Ane also has a Postgraduate Certificate in International Finance from Queen Mary University of London.
