Arianne Svardal-Stelmer

Arianne specializes in dispute resolution which has been the focus of her practice since 2009. She joined Schjødt's dispute resolution department in 2024. 

Arianne advises both national and international clients and has a wide experience in commercial litigation as well as in international arbitration. She handles high-value and complex disputes with significant experience in M&A disputes, professional negligence disputes (e.g the professional liability of lawyers, accountants, and other advisors), and disputes regarding the liability of officers and directors. Arianne also assists clients with investigations of various sizes, including assessments of companies and individuals that ultimately can form the basis for claims for damages or criminal proceedings.

Furthermore - and often as a part of or in close connection with the abovementioned disputes - Arianne has extensive experience with PI insurance, D&O insurance, and W&I insurance. In addition to assisting with disputes on insurance coverage, Arianne also advises on the drafting, purchase, and renewal of such insurances. Arianne is frequently requested by insurance companies to assess coverage, and acts as coverage counsel in ongoing disputes between third party claimants and insureds.
