Ariel Saunte Steina

Ariel is part of Schjødt’s EU & Competition department, specialised in competition law. She joined the firm in 2026 after obtaining her Master of Laws degree from the University of Oslo. Prior to joining the firm full-time, she attained experience through a project trainee position at Schjødt. 

In 2025, she was assigned the Schjødt scholarship for her master’s thesis on the standstill obligation under Norwegian merger control. She has prior to joining the firm, gained experience with both the legal framework and the practical application of the Norwegian right of access to information through a part-time position at the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
