Christine Haugstvedt Downing

Christine is a partner in Schjødt`s Real Estate department. She assists both public and private clients on matters related to Real Estate and Transactions, including negotiation and contractual support. In this context she also manages due diligence processes for her clients, where she is the lead partner on the review of all legal matters related to transaction targets. 

She has been the responsible partner on several cross-border transactions involving larger real estate portfolios both in the Nordics and Europe. Christine also advise on organizational structure and project development, including but not limited to discussions with municipalities, dividing of land, sectioning, negotiations with entrepreneurs and with clients ranging from data-centers, municipalities. She also assists major players on both the landlord and tenant sides in connection with lease agreements. Christine is authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway to conduct real estate brokerage activities and, on this basis, manages settlements in relation to real estate transactions.
