Eleanor focuses on dispute resolution and advising clients on a broad range of shipping and commodity matters, including complex sale of goods disputes, charterparty and ship management disputes, bill of lading disputes and cargo claims. She also has experience of assisting clients in dealing with collisions, groundings, unsafe ports, and issues of general average.

Eleanor also advises clients on the impact of international sanctions and in relation to non-contentious drafting issues, with a particular focus on LNG sale and purchase agreements.

Eleanor regularly acts in arbitration proceedings (LMAA, LCIA, SCMA, GAFTA and ad hoc) and in the English High Court. She acts for a range of clients, including shipowners, P&I Clubs, and charterers.

Before joining Schjødt in July 2020, Eleanor spent 5 years at Ince and gained valuable experience after undertaking a secondment to the in-house legal team of a leading international owner, operator, and manager of LNG carriers. She also spent six months of her training in Monaco.
