Eva leads our strong privacy and data protection team. Her principal area of work is in privacy and she advises on issues such as data protection impact assessments, third country transfer assessments, binding corporate rules, codes of conduct, privacy policies and documentation, anonymization techniques, AI and robotics as well as contact with the Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet, on their decisions and fines. Typical areas of work are the tech- and cloud industry, adtech industry, medical industry, transportation, insurance and banking industry as well as privacy in ICT- and SaaS-contracts. Many of the cases represents the largest privacy matters in Norway and clients represent both large Norwegian companies as well as many foreign companies.
Eva knows the regulatory landscape very well and has written several books on privacy and is a much sought for lecturer. She has been a lawyer since 1999 and joined Schjødt in 2017. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo. She is ranked as leading and recommended individual in international rankings, including Chambers and Legal 500 and Who's who legal.
