Grace Serena-Heaton

Grace is a senior associate based in Copenhagen and a member of Schjødt’s shipping and logistics practice, advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters across the shipping, energy, infrastructure, and logistics sectors. 

She has broad experience on high-value M&A and joint venture transactions, including corporate restructurings and cross-border acquisitions, as well as the formation of joint ventures, both within the shipping sector and across other industries. She also advises on strategic investments, supporting clients through complex corporate restructuring and sale processes. Her shipping and logistics experience includes drafting and negotiating time charter parties for FRSUs, drafting commercial contracts for international logistics and retail clients, and advising on concession and sub-concession agreements for infrastructure projects, representing both governments and concessionaires. 

Grace trained and practised in London, with time spent working in Singapore, before relocating to Copenhagen. She has also spent time in-house on secondment with a major shipping and logistics group, providing legal support across regulated sectors and contributing to broader commercial and regulatory contract work. She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and is BVI-admitted. She speaks conversational Italian.
