Gustav Weismann Lund

Gustav is a partner in Schjødt’s Copenhagen office and specialises in financial services regulation. 

He regularly advises both Danish and international financial undertakings and shareholders on various financial regulatory issues, and he has, in particular, experience in matters concerning investment firms, fund and asset managers, credit institutions, insurance companies, fintechs and payment service providers. 

Gustav has extensive experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional transactional and regulatory matters. His recent experience includes advising on some of the most prominent M&A transactions (both public and private) involving Danish credit institutions and other financial undertakings, as well as advising on various regulatory filings and applications with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. 

Prior to joining Schjødt, Gustav was co-heading the financial services regulatory practice at one of Denmark’s largest law firms.
