Jørgen is an employment lawyer working out of Schjødt's offices in Oslo. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen, specializing in employment law.
Jørgen wrote his master thesis on travel time as working time and has several publications within this field of law. His line of work generally involves providing assistance to Norwegian and international clients in the private and public sector within a wide range of employment law matters, as well as dispute resolution through negotiations and litigation before the courts. He has extensive experience with dismissals, working time matters, cross-border issues as well as evaluations of whether employee’s salary and working conditions are consistent with the requirements of laws, regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
During his studies, Jørgen had several traineeships in various law firms. In 2018, Jørgen won the European Law Students’ Association moot court competition at the University of Bergen.
