Maja Helene Christiansen Steien

Maja is a Senior Associate in the Capital Markets group, where she advises on a wide range of matters with a particular focus on capital markets transactions and financial regulatory frameworks. Her practice includes securities law, the legal framework surrounding financial institutions, company law and equity transactions. She regularly assists clients with navigating regulatory requirements in line with evolving financial legislation.

Maja joined the firm in 2020, following her previous role at another reputable law firm, and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen. She also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in International Finance Law from Queen Mary University of London, reinforcing her specialization in financial regulation. In addition, she holds a BA in Media Design from NTNU in Gjøvik and completed a one-year French language program at NTNU.
