Sigurd Fjærtoft-Andersen

Sigurd works at Schjødt's Industry department. He specializes in legal matters typical for the technology industry, particularly related to intellectual property, IT, data protection, eCommerce and telecommunications. He assists clients in both disputes and transactions. Sigurd began his career at Schjødt in 2023, after obtaining his Masters of Law degree from the University of Bergen. He wrote his master's thesis on assessment of compensation and damages for patent infringements, and received a scholarship from the Norwegian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property for his topic. 

During his studies, Sigurd worked as a student assistant at the University of Bergen. He also had several legal internships at Schjødt and other law firms. He completed a semester abroad at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he specialized in intellectual property rights.
