Gad is part of the firm’s dispute resolution department and compliance team. His practice focuses on international trade sanctions, exports control, corporate investigations, anti-money laundering, human rights, and broader issues related to compliance and corporate governance. 

During his studies, Gad gained valuable experience through several internships, including with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he spent five months abroad at the Norwegian Embassy in Jordan and Iraq. He also completed an exchange semester in Brussels. Prior to joining the firm full-time, he was assigned the Schjødt scholarship for his master's thesis, which examined the legality of EU measures to freeze and confiscate Russian central bank assets as a means of supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction. From September 2025, he will be pursuing postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), with funding awarded by the university. 

Gad speaks Norwegian, English, French, Italian, Arabic (Lebanese) and some Spanish.
