Miriam works in Schjødt's Financial Regulatory Group and specialises in financial markets legislation and asset management. She advises domestic and international financial entities, such as investment firms, insurance companies and intermediaries, payment services providers, management companies and alternative investment fund managers, and crypto businesses.

Miriam joined the firm in 2024 after graduating from the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo in 2023. Prior to joining Schjødt, Miriam had engagements at several different law firms and was an intern at the Financial Markets Department at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance. She has also worked as a legal advisor in the union NITO and with free legal aid in Jussbuss. 

Miriam wrote her master's thesis on the Norwegian and EEA regulations of creditors' assessment of jointly liable consumers' creditworthiness and the duty to deny credit. During her studies, she also participated in the Study Abroad Program at Bond University, Australia.
