Morten is the head of the tax practice group. He works closely with Schjødt's capital markets department and M&A department. He is a tax specialist and has extensive experience with Norwegian taxation, international taxation, and corporate law matters.
Morten advise clients on a regular basis on tax and corporate questions related to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, financial structures, and management incentive plans. Morten also assist clients in disputes with the tax authorities.
He assist clients on a regular basis with tax implications of structuring and establishment of funds and fund structures. He regularly advise Norwegian and non-Norwegian investors on taxation of inbound and outbound fund investments.
Morten has been a lawyer since 2010 and joined Schjødt in 2019. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo and an LL.M. graduate in taxation of Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
