Paal-André Storesund

Paal-André works in Schjødt’s technology practice group, specializing in intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory matters. His daily responsibilities include negotiating various types of agreements and advising clients on compliant processing of personal data, as well as handling questions and disputes relating to marketing law, patents, copyright, and trademarks. He has developed particular expertise in working with life sciences and technology companies, assisting with larger projects and day-to-day issues.

Paal-André joined the firm in 2022. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen, specializing in intellectual property and marketing law. He received a scholarship from the Norwegian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property for his master’s thesis on the patenting of bioinformatics, which he wrote while based at Schjødt’s office. During his time at Schjødt, he has completed a three-month secondment at Nordea, primarily working with anti-money laundering and privacy issues, as well as a part-time secondment at a Norwegian technology company. Prior to his law studies, Paal-André studied basic medicine for one year.
