Paal-André Storesund

Paal-André Storesund works in the industry department and specializes in intellectual property rights, data protection & privacy and corporate compliance. Thus, he holds experience with assisting companies operating within industries such as oil, gas & renewable energy, tech, life sciences and aquaculture. Some examples of previous work are drafting and negotiating agreements, including supplier agreements, licensing agreements, endorsement agreements and collaboration agreements; FTO analyses related to pre-existing IPR, evaluation and enforcement of IPR infringement claims; and questions related to AdTech and marketing law, management of non-personal data, cross-border transfers of personal data and internal routines for processing of personal data. Furthermore, Paal-André has experience with the Norwegian Transparency Act, transactional work and regulatory questions relating to medical devices.

He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen and received a scholarship from the Norwegian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property for his master thesis about patenting of bioinformatics. During his studies, Paal-André was a legal intern at Bull & Co Advokatfirma AS and Schjødt AS. He also wrote his master thesis at Schjødt's office in Oslo.
