Paal-André Storesund

Paal-André works in Schjødt's Dispute Resolution Department, specializing in intellectual property. Besides dispute resolution, his daily responsibilities include providing contractual and regulatory advice, as well as engaging in transactional work that focuses on mapping the target company's intellectual property, privacy, and agreements.

In the field of advisory services, Paal-André brings experience from his work with technology companies and entities in the life sciences sector. This experience includes advising on issues related to advertising, privacy, and regulatory questions concerning medicinal products and medical devices. His background includes a three-month secondment at Nordea, where he primarily worked with anti-money laundering and privacy issues. Additionally, during his part-time secondment at a technology company, his principal task was negotiating software agreements. In the area of dispute resolution, he has assisted in cases related to marketing law, patent law, and copyright law.

Paal-André joined the firm in 2022. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen, specializing in intellectual property and marketing law. He received a scholarship from the Norwegian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property for his master thesis about the patenting of bioinformatics, while writing his thesis at Schjødt's office in Oslo. In addition to law studies, Paal-André studied basic medicine for one year, focusing on anatomy, pharmacology and pathology.
