Trond is a partner in the Dispute department. His principal areas of work are international and national arbitration both ad hoc and institutional and litigation for the regular courts. A focus area is large disputes, both onshore and offshore, involving inter alia construction and conversion projects, gas sale disputes and termination of contracts. Trond has been a lawyer with Schjødt since 1998, He became partner in 2008 and was admitted for the Supreme Court the same year. He has also been an associated judge. He is ranked as leading and recommended in international rankings, including Chambers and Legal 500.
