Caroline Lykke Ladefoged

Caroline is based in Copenhagen and specialises in shipping, banking and finance, and financial services. She advises Danish and international clients across the maritime and financial sector on a broad range of transactional, commercial and regulatory matters.

Within shipping, Caroline advises on matters relating to the financing of vessels and the operation and sale and purchase thereof. Within banking and finance, she assists financial institutions and companies with financing transactions, including within the shipping sector. She also advises credit institutions and other financial undertakings on regulatory matters within financial services, including various regulatory filings and applications with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.  

Caroline joined Schjødt in 2022 and she holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen, where she graduated in June 2024.
