Nicholas is a Senior Lawyer in Schjødt's real estate department, working on matters related to property development. His principal areas of work are zoning plans and building application law, specializing in advising clients on processes related to the public law aspects of property development.
Nicholas has advised a broad field of clients in cases concerning zoning plans, property development agreements with municipal authorities, and complex building application processes.
Within this field he is an experienced lawyer on matters concerning zoning and building regulations, and he has litigated several such cases in the courts. Nicholas is also the co-author of a recent book on property law.
In addition to frequently advising clients on matters related to public regulations concerning property development, he deals with related matters of law such as acquisition of property, lease agreements, expropriation, easements, commercial contracts, etc.
Prior to joining Schjødt, Nicholas worked as an associate at Deloitte law firm, primarily with matters related to property development and real estate transactions.
Nicholas has been a lawyer since 2017 and joined Schjødt in 2019. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo.
